Word. I am either inbetween or in a third category -- I wanted to be a parent but didn't end up being so -- and the only one of these I don't totally condemn is letting parents leave at the normal leaving time, because that may be when their childcare ends and that can be a hard limit. But don't punish the people without children for it -- extra work should be rewarded.

Parenting is difficult but that does not at all excuse being an asshole about it.
