So many 'family life with teens has gone badly' letters would be rendered absolutely moot if more LWs could just remember that they are supposed to be the mature adult in the conversation. LW is lucky her stepdaughter is still speaking to her. (For that matter, she's probably lucky her husband is still speaking to her.)
