Huh. At all my jobs, dependents have had to be added, you have to provide their SSNs amongst other information, and you have to agree to pay the extra premium per dependent. How would your job know of the existence of your dependents, much less all the relevant information, unless you told them? What if your dependent has better insurance by age 26 and wants off your plan (I did)? I have so many questions!
