She doesn't say "half an hour a day." She says "half an hour on a regularly scheduled basis," which could be weekly or monthly. I might be fine with half an hour a month of listening to batshit conspiracy theories (if they were just ridiculously wrong, like "the earth is flat, and all astronauts and GPS engineers are lying.") Maybe even half an hour a week, if it's "look at this crazy thing I found online!" rather than "this is really true!" that feels like listening to a small amount of somebody going on about bowling statistics once in a while. Sure, no problem. But if he is trying to convince me of the truth of Gamergate or QAnon, that would seem to indicate a more serious disconnection of values.
