Even through LW's contemptuous filter, it seems to me that her daughter is doing the *opposite* of refusing to take responsibility for her actions. The ability to self-monitor and go "whoops, I need to bow out of this social interaction and go have a Reaction, and hopefully engage some coping mechanisms" (instead of suppressing emotional reactions, or being swamped by them, or messily exploding over everyone in range) is a skill! A difficult skill, and one a lot of people spend a lot of hours in therapy working on!

Definitely agreed on LW, though. She can't even "make comments" about her daughter without her daughter having "hurt feelings"! So unjust of daughter, to have feelings.
