I'm becoming more and more convinced that this particular Prudie is not doing a good job. For example, check out her utterly clueless advice (complete with careless misreading) to someone who received a racist letter "warning" her about her neighbor. And then there's this pile of uselessness. ("send him stuff he'll find just as offensive". Has this Prudie ever met an Evangelical? Or dealt with de-escalation in any way whatsoever?! Even though that was a "I want to say it but I won't" aside I think it was irresponsible to add.)

(Anyone who knows me knows what I think of the LW's predicament. I want to hug them supportively.)
