IDK, I think a lot of people's fixation on this issue is more because her leap in logic was so stunningly large and unintuitive there. It can be true that this is a concerningly bad, and laughable, logical conclusion while also being true that it's not relevant if the kid is having sex and not inherently bad if she is.
