Fair enough. I should disclose that the song has become something of a personal allergen, being the unofficial anthem of the coastal Florida town where I’ve reluctantly moved; this place is an echo chamber of white boomer Top 40 comfort music, and I keep getting subjected to the same damn algorithmic playlist of a couple dozen albums, interspersed with post 9/11 country.
