I know from parenting experience that hitting and bullying can absolutely be a sign of being unable to coping with multiple inputs. Does the school not have the option of even half-decent therapists and a half-decent classroom for kids who need extra support? "Mild" autism can often mean "ABA taught me to mask but not how to cope."
