I'm guessing it's actually a man who wrote in and is just repeating the usual complaints about how avoiding sexual harassment makes it impossible to flirt or express your sexuality. The LW is taking the incel / MGTOW line of, if women expect men to treat them with the minimum of respect, they're going to refuse to interact with women at all, and see how they like it then!!! It's possible that Amy is right and husband is just a massive jerk who is punishing the person nearest to him because he resents feminism, but the personality change in direct response to #metoo seems implausible. I think "fake letter" is the more likely explanation.
