“The whole premise is simply ridiculous, like come on, if you’re remote, I’m sorry but you give up that privilege of getting a day off.”
Except clearly you don't, not with this employer, but if manager doesn't want those days off nobody will make her take them.
In support of LW here, manager clearly never learned as a child that not every thought needs to be expressed just because you have it.
