Yeah, I saw the shade, but it was too mild to really land, IMO. She shouldn't have included the line about waiters "may have adjusted", which gives way too much credulity to the LW's bizarrely blaming "the actions of the waitress" (!) and undercuts her earlier implication that the staff are unlikely to get any say.
