if he were those things he'd be likely to be a hell of a lot more careful. I don't know why people think disadvantaged people are less careful, not more.

(I've had to teach some basic job skills to younger people from underrepresented or non-American backgrounds, but they were things like "here's what start time means" or "you absolutely need to tell us if something's impossible." Or with people from some countries who are new to the US, "we will under no circumstances pay the non-US government official a bribe to speed things up, we are much too small to not get fined by the SEC if we get caught.")
