I cannot convince my father, who was so sick with covid that when I saw him 10 weeks after symptom onset & 8 weeks after "recovery" that he could barely walk (he ran 10K multiple times a week before getting sick), and is an ER doc, that he should get vaccinated. it's AMAZING what people will just....believe.

fortunately, we are mostly-estranged so we rarely talk and have only seen each other 2x in the past 4 years, but....dang.
