I was wondering that, too. Like maybe she could tell DIL that the intersectionality here is that women (any color) are disproportionately attacked by men (any color). And that since she’s one of those women who’s been assaulted, it’s a particularly triggering issue for her. If DIL wants to talk about white financial, career, criminal justice, etc. privilege, she’s ready to listen. But could she please leave off this one issue.
