LW clearly lacks both empathy and insight, because it's plenty obvious to me that if her daughter really did say "many times" that she doesn't care about her bioparents and that her adoptive parents are her only real parents that she must have been, the whole time, either lying or at least deeply conflicted. Because if it was actually true, she would not have felt the need to say it so often. (Unless LW was prompting her to say it, which I would not put past her.)

Also, just gonna note that she keeps calling this baby "my grandchild" and not "my daughter's child". God, I hope her daughter reads this letter, recognizes her toxic adoptive mom, and starts distancing herself.
