I wonder if New Husband has mistaken LW's grief and rage about Helen for a resurgence of grief and rage about Ex Husband? If the latter it's understandable he'd want LW to move on as quick as possible, and it's entirely possible that he hasn't grasped what about this is so upsetting to LW.
