There's actually very little content about the GF as an individual person, just LW's perception of her glowing yelp review of their relationship. I suspect she probably has told him, or tried, or given up, but even after a public breakup and two months no contact, he's still not capable of hearing about her needs without it becoming a negotiation where she has to convince him she even has a valid say.
