Oof, as someone who hasn't come out as bi to my older relatives, or as nonbinary to anyone in my family, this letter hits me in the feels. I keep asking myself what I would hope to accomplish by coming out to more family members, that will make all the awkwardness and having to explain gender stuff to them worth it. And this letter is making me question whether I'd even want many of them to know me better, which is...a whole other set of feels. *stares into the abyss*
