I remember reading an article a few years ago about a gang of ultra-Orthodox... vigilantes who, presumably for a fee but I don't know, would go around roughing up men who refused to sign off of the get.

Normally I don't approve of vigilante tactics or, to be honest, half the shit we hear about any fringe religious group doing, but I found it hard to get too worked up about this one.
